As an herbal educator and clinician of 40+ years in Western Herbalism. Holding a certificate from the Santa Fe College of Natural Medicine under Michael Moore as Clinical Herbalist from 1982, coupled with a background in First Nation tribal teachings, provides my clients and students with a synergistic approach to health and healing.
I have a Private Mentorship Program that is a live zoom and in-person 78 hour program that is tailored to the individual’s pace and educational needs. It includes a 24 hour, 4 day botanical field trip and 20+ hour Women’s Wellness on-line course. Learn more about this program on: featherjones.com/study-with-feather/
I integrate herbal remedies, holistic nutrition, flower essences and stress reduction guidance, mindful wild harvesting techniques and best modes of preparation, helping one build their herbal pharmacy.
I am also currently offering a one year long, 120 hour Herbal Apprenticeship Program (Western Herbal Therapeutics). featherjones.com/live-group-classes/
I have been the Botanical Field Guide at the Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) for 20 years and have served twice on the Board of Directors for the American Herbalists Guild. I currently chair the Admission Review Advisory Council for the AHG. It’s really a passion and an honor to share herbal wisdom, meet the plants in the field and make medicines with them.
