The Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine has provided in-person herbalist training programs in the mountains around Asheville, NC, since 1999. We teach students how to identify and ethically harvest plants, make high-quality extracts, and use those herbs to support clients’ health, integrating Chinese medicine with the use of local plants to create the best possible clinical outcomes. Founder and primary instructor CoreyPine Shane is a clinic herbalist, author of Southeast Medicinal Plants, and co-founder of the Cohosh Care Clinic, a free herbal clinic in Barnardsville, NC.
