My expertise in herbal medicines including preparing customized herbal formulas to suit each person's unique needs, nutritional assessment and guidance, lifestyle and wellness evaluations, as well as my commitment to respecting diversity, create and environment where true healing can occur. As a clinical herbalist and nutritionist at the People's Wellness Center, as well as in my daily life, I strive to cultivate health on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual levels.

Rebecca Snow has been practicing herbal medicine and nutrition for 12 years. She is a Registered Herbalist with the AHG and a licensed nutritionist in the state of Maryland. She specializes in chronic illness, Lyme and related illnesses, digestive disease, weight loss, food addiction. She uses nutrition, herbs and coaching.
Rebecca began her career practicing at Optimal Health Physicians, an Integrative Medical Practice that specializes in chronic infection and disease. She worked for 10 years at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in a variety of roles including Founding Director of the MS in Nutrition and Integrative Health Program and faculty/supervisor in the herbal medicine and nutrition departments. Currently, Rebecca has a clinical practice at the Avalon Wellness Center in Catonsville, Maryland and runs a mentorship program for new practitioners.
Rebecca has presented on herbs and nutrition throughout the mid-Atlantic region including lectures at Goucher College, Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State University, and Presbyterian Medical Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as a subject matter expert for local media and has appeared on Fox 45 and WBAL in Baltimore.
