Now Accepting Silent Auction Donations

Here is an opportunity to showcase your herbal products, gift baskets, books, services, consultations, arts, crafts, classes and more! This interactive weekend auction will take place on the QGiv App platform with bidding right on your mobile device.

Your donation of goods or services makes it possible for us to support work that furthers the mission of the American Herbalists Guild. We are seeking high-caliber ticket items from our donors to meet our goal. Gift certificates, digital recordings, and other digital offerings are welcome.

If you have something that you would like to donate, please fill out the Silent Auction Donation Form and send a high-quality photo of the item or service that will be used on the app.

Fill out the donation form here.

The donor will be responsible for shipping or digitally delivering the item to the winning bidder. AHG will notify the donor of the winning bidder and shipping information via email.

Please note that we cannot accept donation items in person at the upcoming Symposium. We request that you do not bring your donations to us, as you will be shipping them directly to the winner.

The American Herbalists Guild hosts an annual online silent auction, the proceeds of which support access to herbal education and development of AHG educational tools including the development of the new AHG website project. The funds may be used for scholarships for symposiums and webinars, membership dues, closed captioning services, complementary issues of JAHG, and access to other educational resources provided by the AHG.

Anyone experiencing financial need in herbal education is welcome to submit a scholarship request for access to AHG programming. We strongly encourage individuals from marginalized groups or those historically underrepresented within the American Herbalist Guild to apply for these opportunities. This includes but is not limited to, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, and elderly individuals with fixed incomes.

AHG staff manage the auction process. Auction items are donated, and donors are responsible for costs related to these products and services, for example, shipping. Donors are encouraged to provide their items to recipients promptly.

AHG pays for the online platform for the auction and is reimbursed from the raised funds. In addition, AHG charges a 15% administrative fee (with a minimum of $600) from the total raised for related staff expenses. The staff maintains a liability account, and a report of fund uses and balance will be presented to the Board of Directors annually.
